Oregon has been awarded $197.3 million for the Rural Health Transformation Program grant (RHTP). Read the latest update from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). OHA will invest the federal funding in community-driven projects that improve healthcare access, boost chronic disease management and prevention, grow and sustain the healthcare workforce, and expand the use of health technology and data in Oregon’s rural and frontier communities.
In the first phase of Oregon’s RHTP program, the state will begin accepting proposals for Catalyst Award grants. The process will open this Spring. Organizations will be expected to apply with ready-to-go projects that can be implemented within two years.
