Free Community Health Worker Training

Opportunity from the Oregon Office of Rural Health

The Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) has grant funding to train 24 Community Health Workers (CHWs) free of chare through the NEON training program. Spots are available for the January and February training cohorts.

Learn more about the ORH grant-funded CHW training here.

This opportunity is limited to rural Oregon hospitals, clinics, and rural public health departments.

If you are interested in this program, submit an application through the ORH website and ORH will follow up.

January 2026 cohort: Every other Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from January 6 – May 26 (12:45 pm – 5:00 pm)

February 2026 cohort: Thursday and Friday mornings from February 12 – June 26 (8:45 am – 1:00 pm
