In January 2026 the Oregon Health Authority changed the health-related services program name to flexible services. This change was based on feedback from coordinated care organizations (CCOs), community partners and Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members to alleviate confusion with OHP covered benefits for health-related social needs.

Benton County recently updated their Tobacco-Free Facilities and Grounds Policy to capture and include any product that can be smoked or vaped, including cannabis. The goal of the updated policy is to continue promoting the health and safety of employees and the public by reducing the harmful effects of secondhand smoke and nicotine addiction
