Summer EBT is a benefits program that helps families buy food for their school-aged children when school is out. Each summer, families will get a one-time payment of $120 for each eligible child to buy groceries.
Summer EBT is a program in partnership with the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) and the Oregon Department of Education (ODE).
Important dates
- June 1, 2026: Oregon Summer EBT Call Center opens
- June 5, 2026: Families who qualify automatically will begin to get their benefits.
- September 1, 2026: Application period closes
- September 25, 2026: Oregon Summer EBT call center closes
